Wasfia Nazreen is a mountaineer, writer and social worker who is the second women after Nishat won the Mount Everest. She is the only Bangladeshi won the seven summit of the seven continent breaking the record Italian mountaineer Reinhold Messner.

Following the divorce of parents, she moved to Dhaka to live with an aunt. Then she went to the United States in pursuing the higher study. Wasfia received a scholarship from Agnes Scott College, Georgia.
