Maile received his degree during the graduation ceremony held at the ZK Matthews Hall in Pretoria today. Unisa also acknowledged the politician for his achievement which he obtained through the university's College of Law. The institution said in a statement that his passion for education is evident in his track record and the impact he has had on the education system in South Africa.

Speaking from his celebratory party, Maile who also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Wits, said that education is the key to personal development and the future of societies. He also acknowledges it was not an easy road to travel especially having to balance between his demanding career and studies.
